An “Every Day Carry” or “EDC” is an assortment of various tools and gear that will be useful in every day situations. Basic EDC kits include:
- A pen/pencil and small notebook – For taking notes.
- A flashlight – Always useful to have handy.
- A knife/multitool – Compact and versatile.
- A first aid kit – Accidents happen.
- Cell Phone
- Wallet
- Keys
- Watch
- Sunglasses/glasses
- Firearm
- etc…
As in all kits, your needs for your EDC may be different. Make notes of what you use and don’t use. Considering you will be carrying around these items all day, weight and size is important.
